Celtic Cross of Journeys and Meetings

This carving can be seen to symbolise the journey of life, with its many opportunities and encounters. The meeting that may bring us fulfilment depends on the most startling chance and circumstance. The journey from the very first meeting to true union and love, is long and arduous.

People destined to meet will do so, apparently by chance, at precisely the right moment. R.W. Emerson

This carving by our co-founder Kathleen Smyth, of a man and a woman on either side of the Tree of Life, is from a 1,000 year old stone in Co. Donegal, Ireland. It has a carefully polished pure bronze finish with a ceramic resin cold cast core.

Dimensions: 10 x 3.5 inches (25 x 9cm)

This piece comes in a Wild Goose Studio presentation gift box.
